The hotel is strategically located close to the lake.

I faced multiple issues . The internet was annoyingly unreliable, compelling me to leave my room just to connect in the lobby. The sound insulation was poor. I could hear every conversation in the adjacent room. Finally, there was no air conditioning in my upper floor room, leading to uncomfortable warmth during the night.

reasonably large and impeccably clean room provided with the public bathroom, fantastic view, as example. location just next door to centre of the village and the lake and mountains. good food in the restaurants such as bistrot, located 10 min away.

Staying at Major Davel was quite enjoyable. The location right on the shores of Lake Geneva is amazing. The view from my room was fine, allowing me to soak in the serene beauty of the landscape. The recently renovated room felt luxurious, with a comfortable bed and a well-appointed bathroom. The decor had a lovely, tasteful vibe. Breakfast offerings were good, with a variety of cheeses, fresh jams, and a selection of breads and pastries that started my day off right. I found the little beach nearby charming, and the vineyards just a short climb away provided a lovely escape. There were some downsides. There was no air conditioning in my room, a bit uncomfortable during warm nights. Sound insulation could definitely use improvement. I could hear conversations from neighboring rooms. I had some issues with WiFi connectivity, requiring me to find a stable connection in the common areas. Those minor inconveniences aside, I look forward to returning to this beautiful place soon.

I loved the sumptuous bed and cozy towels, perfect for relaxing after a day by the lake! I found WiFi access a bit frustrating with the credit card requirement.

The views of Lake Geneva were just gorgeous, and we even took the time to hike up the vineyards nearby. The newly renovated bathroom was a pleasant surprise.

Convenient location with vineyards and restaurants right nearby. You can get a clean room and still have access to a public restroom. Plus, the view from the room is awesome! 🌟
